It wasn’t until my third visit to Tokyo that the stars aligned and I finally got to have a long-awaited stroll of the Oedo Antique Market. One of the best markets I’ve visited across the world, this must-visit event is only on a few times a month.

If you’re lucky enough to visit, endless treasures will await you- handmade ceramics, vintage kimonos, authentic samurai swords, ancient scrolls. It’s truly like traveling back in time! Here I was able to buy a vintage Japanese vinyl, an old sake glass, and plenty of gorgeous ceramics… you will likely want to buy another suitcase, trust me!

Make sure to bring plenty of cash– while some items are very affordable, some rarer items can become incredibly pricey.
