A temple and magical gardens hidden away in the neighborhood of Suthep, I was first brought here by my friend Luhr, on an afternoon break from life in Ae’s kitchen. Truly one of my favorite places in all of Chiang Mai, this temple has staircases lined with bamboo, gorgeous Buddhist statues and offerings, and ruins of anicent palaces. Here, nature takes over these magnificent structures, with vines and leaves wrapping around everything. There is a true sense of peace here- it’s the perfect place to meditate.
