IGUAZU, ARGENTINA

AVATARS
Shared by Argentina and Brazil, Iguazú Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in the world. On a sunny day, expect the see the falls surrounded by glittering rainbows. For the daring, take a boat ride through the waters below- you’ll feel like a tiny speck compared to the enormity of the place!
Around the national park, expect to see wild animals- particularly coaties, South America’s version of a raccoon (but much cuter!). While they are friendly, it is not recommended to feed or touch them as they may bite.
It’s recommended to visit both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides of the falls. If you plan to do so, you must bring a valid passport in order to cross the border. You can easily visit both sides in one day, or for a slower route, over two days. If you feel extra adventurous, you can also easily get to Paraguay from Iguazú! Just ask your hotel or hostel for instructions on taking the local bus.
"With 275 waterfalls, Iguazú is one of the most extraordinary sights in South America."
