GAA, BANGKOK
an unforgettable meal.
AVATARS
Gaa will capture your attention before you even walk in. A gorgeous red teak wooden house, it was transported piece-by-piece from the ancient city of Ayutthaya to take its place as one of Bangkok’s most memorable restaurants.
Esteemed Indian chef Garima Arora’s menu will blow you away- introducing you to flavors so spectacular, they’ll make you want to book a ticket to India.
Each table has its own alcove, surrounded by rather magical feeling hanging chains. You will get to meet the whole team as they present dishes one by one, each with its own story. Gobi paratha with heaps of whipped butter, blue swimmer crab summer curry with grilled banana leaves and apple ice, and for the daring, the restaurant’s famous grilled durian curry. Even the plating has a story- with ceramics created by Indian artist Clay Man, who sculpts faces he sees on the streets.
For those with a sweet tooth, you will be pleased to know that you get not one, but four dessert courses– including a breathtaking box of mithais, traditional Indian petit fours. And of course, the magic words- “Take as many as you like!”
"The perfect special occasion destination, Gaa gives the feeling of private dining in a spectacular setting."
