One of the most stunning views in South America is that of Fitz Roy, a towering snowcapped mountain in Argentine Patagonia. There are multiple hikes you can take depending on how much time you have in the area of El Chaltén. The easiest is to the lake viewpoint, which I highly recommend if you’re limited on time. Make sure to bring a map as you will have very little service in the town and even less when hiking.
