My friend Luhr first took me here, while I held on to the back of his motorcycle for dear life as we sped up the curving mountain roads.

Though a difficult drive, it’s worth the views– here, we nearly had the place to ourselves. That is, besides the small street cart selling ice cream, because Thai people always have good snacks!

A place of pure peace, this viewpoint overlooks the blue silhouettes of the mountains, plus a small village below. Worth a visit on your drive up to Doi Suthep temple.
