Tokyo is the place where travelers with a taste for the finer things go to die. A city that is, in my eyes, simply perfect, it is somehow simultaneously ultra-modern while still carefully preserving thousands of years of exceptional tradition.

Japan was my 30th country and my forever dream destination– and my first experience in Tokyo was one that I will never forget. Rarely can I say I experience culture shock, but as the world’s most populated city, the sheer amount of people here is, it itself, a sight to behold. You will find that even trying to step on to a subway escalator is somehow a cultural experience!
