The Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market (ปากคลองตลาด in Thai) is one of my favorite parts of Bangkok for a dose of local life. Unlike the rush of motorbikes and towering high rises, this market is bustling with the traditions and flavors of Thailand.

With gorgeous flowers and all sorts of different fruits and vegetables, this is the ideal spot for a wander. The locals will welcome you with a smile- though maybe they’ll just be more charmed that a foreigner found their way into such a place!
